Physical Description		This green skinned Orion woman carries herself with an air of quiet detachment. She has slightly narrow green eyes which gaze out at the world in a manner some might consider cold and void. Between them rests a long, narrow nose, a few centimeters above a pair of dark red lips. Framing her sharply angled face is honey gold hair which is short at the front and grows longer the further back one looks, until it is brushing the base of the back of her neck. She has slightly narrow, slanted shoulders which support a pair of long, moderately muscled arms and hands with long fingers. Her fingernails are neatly kept and colorless. Natira has a decent sized bust which falls closer to being above average than below. Looking down, her frame grows narrower before it flares out at the hips, which support long, toned legs and dainty feet.

Ambitions		On a personal level, Natira wants nothing more than to grow the most beautiful garden in the quadrant. Professionally, she strides to overcome adversity and to better herself as an officer every day, even if it's a challenge for her to do so.
Hobbies & Interests		Though Natira has a variety of interests, some of her more prominent ones include botany, alien music, alien cuisine and Starfleet history. Sometimes she can be found tinkering with a device or a piece of machinery.

Personal History		Natira was born in space aboard a family run Orion free trade vessel, the New Dawn. Far from the common perception of Orion's, her family had no interest in piracy, manipulation of others or the slave trade. She was the only child aboard the small vessel, which meant she didn't often have the opportunity to socialize with those her own age. When she did, she did not have the opportunity to make lasting friendships. This lead to her being standoffish and isolating herself, either in her mother's shipboard hydroponic garden or in her quarters playing one musical instrument or another. When she was fifteen, the New Dawn was attacked by privateers, and though everyone managed to get off the ship, the New Dawn was destroyed. Finding herself and her family scattered across the surface of a barely hospitable L class planetoid, she struggled to stay alive for weeks before a Starfleet vessel, the USS Hornet, located her and her family. Aboard the Hornet, Natira was befriended by the ship's chief medical officer, Doctor Elizabeth Baxter, who told her all about Starfleet. Intrigued, Natira researched as much Starfleet history as she could before her and her family were dropped off at a Starbase. A few months later, wanting to learn how to survive and better protect herself, she signed up for Starfleet Academy, to the concerned support of her family.
Service Record		June 2351: Enrolled in Starfleet Academy on the tactical track with a secondary focus in engineering. June 2355: Graduated Starfleet Academy in the top 10% of her class, assigned to the USS Victory as a tactical officer. September 2359: Promoted to Lieutenant junior grade, reassigned to the USS Raven as a propulsion systems specialist. May 2365: Awarded the Captain's Commendation for outstanding performance during a skirmish with pirates in the Ventari system. May 2365: Promoted to the rank of Lieutenant and assigned as the chief tactical officer aboard the Raven. January 2370: Awarded the Starfleet metal of valor for outstanding conduct and upholding the prime directive on Denii II, where the Breen were attempting to set up a mine which threatened to alter the native culture forever. May 2370: Promoted to the rank of Lieutenant Commander. November 2375: Promoted to the rank of Commander and assigned to the USS Destiny as first officer. December 2380: Promoted to the rank o Captain and assigned to the newly built USS Pathfinder as its commanding officer.
